WWW browsing



In this document we will discuss the features commonly found in a WWW (world wide web) browser. We will use Netscape 3.0 as our model. Other browsers like Microsoft's Internet Explorer has similar options.
As you know by now browsers are used to amoung other this look at web pages on the Internet. Your web browser may also be used to read and post to newsgroups, send email, and to retrieve (download) information/data.
Many WWW browsers can:
  1. Look at web pages.
  2. Read and Post to Newsgroups
  3. Send Email
  4. Retrieve information/data
  5. Some can be even used to create/edit webpages
