Project 3 - Evaluation Guidelines

You are going to be completely evaluated by your fellow classmates. This will give you a full taste of how real applications are evaluated---by your customers. . These are APPROXIMATE GUIDELINES ONLY and are not set in stone. The point values may alter and this is only meant as a general guideline.
Grading Scheme GUIDELINES (students to use explain why any points taken off) Remember every shift of 10% of the points is a shift in a letter grade.


100% =
  • all portions of project designed and implemented, and run (regardless of accuracy)
  • turned in deliverables
90% =
  • all portions of project designed and implemented,
  • minor problems with application (i.e. a few spelling mistakes, too much scrolling)
  • MUST have implemented one of using social data in app or using social channel in app.
  • turned in deliverables
80% =
  • all portions of project designed and implemented,
  • minor problems with application (i.e. a few spelling mistakes, too much scrolling)
  • did NOT implement Social Channel AND did NOT implement use of social data.
  • turned in deliverables
70% =
  • all portions of project designed and implemented,
  • problems with application (does not completely function but approximately 50% of the functionality works)
  • possibly did NOT implement Social Channel AND did NOT implement use of social data.
  • turned in deliverables
60% =
  • program not working but, there is code turned in and attempted.
  • possibly did NOT implement Social Channel AND did NOT implement use of social data.
  • turned in deliverables
0% =
  • anything less than 50% requirements
